Jack 'Mezza' Meredith, a 19 year old beautiful soul, loved by all his family and many friends fought so hard against a Craniopharyngioma Brain Tumour since 2014. Jack endured 4 major operations, lost his sight, had 2 strokes and so many more obstacles which he tried so hard to defeat. Despite everything thrown at Jack he remained polite, friendly, kind and caring and everybody who met Jack couldn't help but fall under his beautiful spell, including the Nurses, Doctors, Medical Teams at QMC & Nottingham City Hospital who cared so wonderfully for Jack.

Jack was Jack, a unique young man with a beautiful smile and a kind heart who will live on within the strength and love of all the Meredith family. He was amazing, he defeated many challenges and through his love of helping others, Jack will never be forgotten. Just one glance into the sky and the brightest star looking back at you will be Jack, twinkling away reminding you of how lucky we all are to be here enjoying life, so let's try to complain less, be kinder, smile more and think of others often.

In celebration and memory of Jack, in lieu of flowers, if you wish to make a donation, funds will be used to say a proper goodbye to Jack and donate to numerous charities close to Jack and his families hearts. Charities may include Teenage Cancer Trust, Cancer Research UK, Brain Tumour Charity Trust, Action Org UK, Brain Tumour Research Org, Queens Medical Centre Ward who cared for Jack, RNIB, Vista Blind Org UK and many more who have been there for both Jack and his family.
