Story
"Barney's Lifeline" is the brain-child of Steph Kolander and Alex Shears.
We are seeking to fund, develop, open, and run a new kind of animal sanctuary/ animal retirement home for the West Norfolk area.
We have been making slow but steady progress in raising funds for this enormous project, thanks to our sponsors and generous donors!
Our main purpose will be rehoming the older, medication-dependant and disabled animals (dogs, cats, poultry, small furries, small farmland animals) from all over the UK (with potential for rehoming strays from abroad, depending on future circumstances).
This will include, but is not limited to-
adopting from recue centres,
taking in animals who's owners have passed away,
and offering an alternative solution to owners who feel their beloved pet's medical conditions have simply become too much.
In order to accomplish this, to put it bluntly, we need funding.
Enough to purchase a property outright would be the ideal, as we can then afford the upkeep, maintainance, medical issues, and general care of the animals ourselves.
HOWEVER, I am aware that this would be a monumentally huge task, and it would take up a lot of valuable time.
If we could raise enough for a decent deposit, that would be enough to get us started.
Any help is extremely appreciated, whether it's a few pennies, or a couple of pounds :) Spread the word! Thank you very much :)
