Story

We are a fresh Community Association based in Beeston Hill, Leeds. Our purpose is to bring the community together and build a stronger bond between our neighbours celebrating what we have in common and what we do differently.

We are always helping people in anyway that we can and any donations to help us do this are greatly welcomed.

On the 25th March we are holding a collaborative community Iftar event where anyone, from any background or belief can experience and be empowered by learning about one of the Pillars of Islam and why it is so important to our Muslim neighbours.

We are expecting over 150 people and the event is free. We have had to make it bookable to be able to determine attendance but we have had a fantastic massive interest.

This means that we may not have capacity for anyone who arrives without a ticket.

We don't want to turn anyone away, so we thought we should have a stand by supply of take away Iftar packs that can be given to any attendees that were not able to get a ticket.

Any funds that are raised that are not required for the Iftar event will be put towards further support in our community. Beeston Hill Community Association have a lot of great opportunities around the corner. Watch this space and help us do good things for our local people. We are family.
