Azlans Virtual Cycle Fundraiser
Join us and support rugby, inclusivity, and diversity
The Azlans are excited to partner with Ulster University for a virtual cycle fundraiser. On Wednesday, 11 October 2023 in the foyer of the main Ulster University building, we'll be pedalling 520 miles in one day, equivalent to the distance from Belfast to Stade de France, the venue of this year’s Rugby World Cup final.

Why We Fundraise
We believe in the transformative power of rugby and teamwork. Our mission is to unite communities, create sporting equality by breaking down barriers, and provide opportunities for everyone, regardless of background, sexual orientation or experience.
As a team, we are passionate about providing opportunities helping players to develop their skills to reach their full potential, find a place of belonging and help them look after their physical and mental wellbeing.
Running a successful rugby team, however, requires significant financial resources. We need funding for facility rentals, equipment, and travel expenses.

How You Can Make a Difference
1. Donate: Your contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful impact.
2. Spread the Word: Help us reach a wider audience by sharing our fundraiser with your friends and networks.
Your support goes beyond our team; it reinforces our commitment to inclusivity and diversity within the sport and the broader LGBTQ+ community.
Joining the team has really improved my self confidence in so many ways. I've never played a team sport before but I love the camaraderie.

Help us secure the resources needed to ensure the continued growth and success of the Azlans. Together, we can provide top-notch training facilities, opportunities, and a safe, welcoming environment for all.
Thank you for being a part of our journey!
