Story

The Aim of this fundraiser is to support Samantha Broadbent by Climbing Ben Nevis by myself & David Swinfen on the 12th July. All funds will go directly to Sam and assist in anyway possible towards her treatment, any contribution helps. Please read below her story.

Samantha Broadbent is a 27 year old wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie, friend and much more. On January 30th 2018 Sam was given the devastating news that she had cervical cancer and would need a hysterectomy and radiotherapy. Following this gruelling treatment plan she was given the all clear in November of the same year.

Unfortunately in April 2019 the doctors found a tumour in Sams bowel followed by 2 more tumours, 1 of which is inoperable.

The family have recently discovered that this may be treatable by Proton Beam Radiotherapy which was introduced to the Uk last year, however this is not available on the NHS and is costly.

Sam has a husband Luke and 2 young children Jacob age 4 and Sienna age 2, these babies need their mother.
