So this year me and my Mum are running the Santa Dash 5K in Liverpool. For those of you who haven't heard of the Santa Dash before, its basically a fun run in Liverpool where everyone dresses up as Santa and runs a 5K! We are collecting money and raising sponsors for two amazing charities; the Poppy Centre, in memory of my Great Grandad Reg, and Christopher Grange, in memory of my Uncle Brian. Here's a little bit about both the charities:

The Poppy Centre is a social club for over 50's, designed to support people who want to get out the house, make new friends, and simply have one hot meal a day. This centre has a special significance for my family, as my Great Grandad Reg volunteered here after losing his wife, and it truly gave him a new lease of life, giving him a purpose and making friends in the process. He sadly passed away in April, but it was such a comfort to us knowing he spent his last few months having such a good time at the Poppy centre.

Christopher Grange care home provides residential, nursing and palliative care for those who require it. This charity also means a lot to us as a family as my Uncle Brian passed away here just a few days ago. Any donations for both of these charities would be greatly appreciated.

All money raised will be split evenly between both charities. Thank you so so much for your support.
