Story
We want to make sure that important local community information is available to all in a way that they can easily access and understand. One of our activities is the production of Biggleswade Community News. Many people cannot access information online so we offer printed copies at local pickup points and delivered to clients of Biggleswade Good Neghbours. Our problem is that printing is expensive, so we are limited in how many copies we can produce and how many pages we can afford, Your contribution could help us reach more people with information that they could really benefit from.

2 months agoThanks for your support and donations. Each printed edition costs £155 for 1500 copies with 8 pages. So between you you have nearly funded a whole monthly edition! This is important to our readers especially some of our "Good Neighbours" clients who are housebound. Volunteers deliver it through their door to help them to feel paart of the local community.

9 months agoWe will be producing our September edition soon. We need to fit it into 8 pages until we can boost our funds. We are applying for a grant. Without it we cannot continue at all. If you can afford it we can tell the grant givers that the community are supporting it as well.

I enjoy supporting local community groups and initiatives. Also small businesses. Most of what I do is voluntary for no charge but I also trade as AW Dansey Associates offering low cost internet services to earn a bit of "pocket money" in my retirement!
