We have met our first target to fix the clock and are now fundraising to restore, as far as it possible, the fabric of the tower. At fifty feet it is made of steel, cast iron and bronze and finished with a dolphin weathervane. The distinctive decoration and delicate design add to its rarity as one of the few remaining Victorian clock towers still in its original park setting. We are working in partnership with the Brighton & Hove City Council, who will - after the repair - continue to provide annual servicing and seasonal time changes to the clock.
