We have been inspired by @Bagsofkindnessuk who began supplying bags of essential items to homeless women in Scotland. Our good friend Yolande De Vries has been involved in doing the same thing in London, so we felt it would be a fantastic idea to bring this concept to the women of Kirklees.

With your kind donations we will buy bags and essential items such as deodorant, toothpaste, sanitary towels etc. and some luxury and practical items such as chocolate, pens and paper, stamps etc.

We feel this is a very worthwhile cause and hope to collect enough items and donations to supply a minimum of 20 bags this winter. We envisage that these bags will be distributed through homeless shelters in the area.
