Story

What is Breaducating Britain?

Breaducating Britain (www.breaducatingbritain.com) is a Community Interest Company, set up by baker and author, Kitty Tait. Through her Breaducation program, easy to use 'just add water' bread kits, are donated to schools, food hubs, prisons, social enterprises and charities enabling them to breaducate their community.

So far they have provided over 36,000 “just add water” kits, 220 lessons with 198 organisations.

Baking delicious bread is my passion and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my 60th year, than supporting an organisation that empowers others to bake their own wholesome bread.

What am I going to do?

The challenge is to climb 60 peaks in 60 weeks. The 60 peaks in question are the highest points of the 60 ceremonial counties of England and Wales. Some will be challenging, other more of a bimble but with my husband, trusty hound and occasional friends and family in tow, we will scale the high peaks and climb the lower. I‘ll document the whole challenge on my blog ( www.Bramblebakes.com)
