Story
On the 4th of October 2016 Bryan Pearson was involved in an accident involving a trapped horse and as a result sadly had a very serious head injury leaving him in a Coma for 9 days and needing Facial reconstruction. He is now on the long road to recovery.
For those who know Bryan, you will know what a hugely loving character of the Ombersley community he is after residing here for the last 30 odd years, local builder and a regular patron at the Fruiterers Arms.
The harsh reality is that without the air ambulances attentiveness, emergency services and QE Critical Care Unit at Birmingham he wouldn’t still be with us, and i wouldnt still have my Dad.
However the air ambulance receives no government funding and so requires charitable support,
and also the QE Critical Care Unit at Birmingham where he has been receiving care require a new portable CT scanner.
The scanner would enable cases where moving a patient to the current scanner could cause more injury, a situation that for us became all too real, they can instead bring the scanner to the patient- but they have no funding for this which would cost a total of £600,000.
We therefore invite you to contribute to this fund where we intend to split the money between these two fantastic causes to say a small thank you for everything both the Air ambulance and the critical care unit at the Hospital have done & are doing for Bryan.
