Disability support

Story

We are completing an open water swim of 2 miles in Burghley House lake on Saturday 11th May at 1pm.

We are raising money for 2 worthy charities;

“The Able Stables believe the opportunity of a holiday should be available to everyone. We offer heavily subsidized stays in two specially adapted cottages to those with a wide range of disabilities, both physical and psychological. We believe that having any kind of disability together with financial challenges should not be a barrier to anyone wanting to get away and have a restorative holiday. Liza has kindly offered to help raise funds for a profiling bed which will help us to offer a break to guests with more challenging needs and we are hugely appreciative of her efforts on our behalf – thank you so much Liza.”

Here at Together anything is pawsible we fund assistance dogs for children on the spectrum who need a helping paw. T.A.P carefully chooses the pups and each placement is chosen very carefully to ensure that the child and pup is the perfect match. The dog training is tailored to the child’s specific needs. All of the dogs training from puppy through to fully trained assistance dog is met and paid for by T.A.P. to train each dog it costs in the region of 10k to 15k.
