Burton Leander Rowing Club is one of the oldest rowing clubs in the country.

We are a Community Amateur Sports Club with open membership for all that are keen to enjoy the experience of the Olympic sport of rowing.

We have coached sessions from age 11, with no upper age limit.

All members are encouraged to achieve their ambitions, whether it is to represent the country at international competitions to enjoying a recreational row on a Saturday afternoon.

On March 23rd 2024 We will have a 12 hour sponsored ergo challenge where our members will collectively row the length of the Ems River in Germany (362.4 Km). The Ems River passes Burtons twin town of Lingen who have a close special relationship.

All funds will go towards new projects to grow the club and also a donation will be made to Burton Hope.
