    Story

The Black British City Group (BBCG) invites you to its second annual charity fundraiser, ‘City Generosity II’, this year, in aid of the 4Front Project, a charitable organisation on a mission to empower young people to live free from violence.

The evening will feature drinks, canapés, musical performances, spoken word, art, giveaways and most importantly, generosity. It will be co-hosted by radio presenters Rob Bruce and Bisi Akins and performers will include Luke AG. There will also be a keynote speech from Lord Hastings, a DJ set from DJ Sombodi and art from the likes of Sarah Owusu and many more. Expect to be touched by inspirational testimonies from young people whose lives have been transformed by 4Front’s work.

4Front is a youth-led charitable organisation, on a mission to empower young people and communities to live free from violence. They address violence by creating bespoke, holistic, youth-led interventions that are delivered in community, educational and criminal justice settings. Their programmes focus on personal development, social action and legal empowerment. Such programmes have engaged over 850 community members affected by violence and delivered workshops that have reached over 2000 young people aged 8 - 25. Further general information on 4Front can be found here.

BBCG will donate proceeds from City Generosity II to 4Front so that they may continue to empower young people to live free from violence and knife crime. All attendees will have the opportunity to meet 4Front’s founder, Temi Mwale, who is an award-winning social activist and one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30. London’s most sought-after luxury lifestyle hotel and members’ club, The Curtain Hotel & Members Club, is set in the heart of Shoreditch.

City Generosity II will be hosted in the venue's ballroom, featuring a private bar and entrance.

The dress code is cocktail attire.

We ask that you please arrive at 6.30pm, to be greeted with a complimentary glass of bubbles, ahead of a prompt start at 7pm.

If for whatever reason you cannot make it to City Generosity II or would just like to make personal donation to 4Front, please donate on this page.

Tickets to this event are limited, so please RSVP here as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Video coverage of City Generosity I can be found here.

This event is proudly sponsored by the Curtain Hotel & Members Club and Herbert Smith Freehills LLP.
