Why we are Hosting this Event?
Working in partnership with various Organisations, Chapters are running the Grotto as a non Profit Event and inviting a number of Children who are currently in care within Stockport to come and speak with Santa and receive a present from him.
Children can enjoy the activities we have put on including a bouncy castle (weather permitting) pin the scarf of the snowman, mini disco, they can also write a list to Santa that he will take from them when they go to meet him.
The general public are invited to come and join in on the experience also. To book your Child in to meet Santa go to
Children in Care get to experience this with no charge, and selection of children will be done by the proper channels, if you run a children's home please get in touch if you would like to add your children to this special event, we will try our very best to raise the funds to make this possible.
We are relying totally on donations and help from the community to bring this Event to life. The more money we raise the more Children in care we can invite and make the grotto and entertainment exceptional. If you would like to donate any extra amount please visit our Just giving page to contribute. Any donation is a great help but £10-£15 will ensure 1 Child in Care will receive a present from Santa. (gifts received Approx £10-£15 dependent on age)
If you would like to lend your time or services please contact us by email with what you can do and when you can help. Here are a few examples of what help we will need: Decorating, Coordinating, Entertainers, mince pie baking, Santa's, Mrs Santa, Elves, magicians, carol singers, face painting, bouncy castle, transport for the Children in Care to and from the grotto, old Christmas decs donation and anything and everything else that we will need to make this the best experience for those who cant spend Christmas Day with their family.
