What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
Clovelly is a fantastic place to row from, but it takes a lot of people to get the boat down into the water safely - and even more to drag it back up again afterwards!
That makes it difficult to provide opportunities for people to row, especially youngsters.
A fibreglass gig could stay in the water, making it easier to launch and so giving more people the chance to take part in this great sport - which is also an important part of the region's history.
