What I'm planning on doing-
I am planning on doing various charity events and fundraising within the next 4 weeks and on throughout this and next year to try and raise as much money as possible for the charity 'Beauty with a Purpose'. All money raised will make it's way into this account.
Why I'm doing it-
I am raising money as I am competing in the Miss England competition this year and they are really supportive of the BWP charity and i want to raise awareness and money to help the charity and the children involved.
About the Charity-
It was created in 1972 by Julia Morley and has since raise hundreds of millions of pounds which have been donated to local and international organisations in aid of helping disadvantaged children all over the world.
Why it matters to me-
The Miss England and Miss World competition is not just about looks and beauty, but it is about the beauty on the inside, the beauty of giving and raising money for children less fortunate, and raising awareness of the charity. It is about giving to the disadvantaged children all over the world and helping them with their independence, greater self-esteem, development of life-skills, and giving them experiences and opportunities they otherwise may not have gotten to enjoy.
I believe everyone should get the same chance to have the life they wish for and Beauty With A Purpose helps to provide that.
