We are a couple from Leeds, Bob and Kathy Hepworth, who spend a lot of time in Mallorca. Our friends are Julian and Anthea Defreitas, ex pats and generally all round good guys.

Three years ago we started fundraising for Cancer Support Group Mallorca. We wanted to say thank you to the island for looking after a dear English friend of ours who received an early diagnosis of breast cancer, a super swift successful operation and excellent care from everyone she met during the course of her treatment on Mallorca.

We found Cancer Support Group Mallorca who are there to support anyone on the island who has been touched by cancer, be it in the shape of a wig, hand holding for patients or counselling for family members.

For the last two years we have held a fund raising event and have so far raised €23,000.

We'd dearly like to get this sum nearer to €40,000. So this year, in addition to the 'charity-do' we are also asking our UK friends along with our business partners (and of course anyone else who knows us) to help us achieve these funds for Cancer Support Group to continue their work on the island.

Our UK target is £2500 and If you can help us achieve this we'd be very very grateful.
