Rescue Background:
The rescue started because of the significant increase in animals being advertised 'free to a good home' on free ad sites. Most of the time, checks that are needed to make sure the dog will be safe are not carried out and unfortunately many dogs do not end up in the 'loving environment' that people are led to believe they are going to.
We are completely volunteer managed and 100% of our funds goes towards supporting the dogs in our care.
We try to help as many dogs as we can and now the majority of our dogs come from pounds up and down the country who are due to be put to sleep. Every dog we can take in will save another life by creating a space in the pound - so remember by adopting a rescue dog you are saving two lives not one! We also support owners who are unable to keep their dogs as family pets as well as still trying to help some dogs being advertised for free.

We assess every dog that is in our care so we can place them into the most suitable home and carry out homechecks before an adoption can take place. Our dogs are adopted having been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (or with support for post adoption neutering) and all owners sign an adoption contract so that if the dog ever had to be rehomed it would be returned to our care
