Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.
I joined Canvey Bay Watch as a volunteer in April 2015 and already much work had taken place with the clearing of rubbish and weeds from the beach. Since then there have been projects to build a flower bed and plant shrubs along the slope leading up the seawall to the beach. Large shrubs have been planted in pots along the seaward side of the seawall and many Memorial Benches have been installed with funding coming from the local community and various community groups. Picnic tables have also been installed on the beach and two small information murals have been painted. In order to fund more projects, this fundraising page has been set up to enable members of the public to donate should they so wish.
