I've raised £2500 to Help with costs to enable people with disabilities and their families/carers play a sport together in the form of Wheelchair Rugby League.

Cardiff Blue Dragons run Wheelchair Rugby League sessions weekly at Cardiff City House of Sport for a wide range people which include children and young people, young adults through to those of an older age. We provide a safe inclusive space where people with any form of disability whether physical, mental or hidden can play a sport together and with their parents/family members and carers whilst making it accessible in keeping costs to our members to a minimum. We aim to deliver these sessions to improve wellbeing, health, build confidence and reduce social isolation. We also give people the opportunity to either train with us for fun and health benefits or for those who are competitive we provide friendly and league fixtures in the Welsh Invitational League.
Wheelchair Rugby League is a sport for all, our members currently range from 8 years old to over 70s. We have people from all ages, gender, sexual orientation, and a wide range of disabilities and non disability members who all play this sport together.
With ever increasing costs we are looking to raise money to help with venue hire, maintenance to the wheelchairs, and transport of players and equipment to away fixtures.
