    Story

Catherine Reilly, my mum fell down the stairs at the end of November 2015 breaking her neck causing permanent damage to her spinal cord. She will remain a tetraplegic with only the use of her head and neck, and so her care needs will be high and ongoing. The prognosis is that she will hopefully be able to return home but will need specialist equipment including a special wheelchair that she will be able to control using her head. There is government funding available for some of her needs but we will need to plug the gap for some adaptations to her home, including hoists and a specialist bed.
Any amount of donation adds up, so please help if you are able to. if not, thank you taking the time to read this.
    Thanks Janine

This money was raised by selling cakes and goodies at Catherine's old place of work and hopefully will help towards her fund for independence.
