Hello,

In November 2023 I will be volunteering with the charity 4Ukraine and helping to deliver a large shipment of medical supplies and humanitarian aid to people in Ukraine. The medical supplies will be distributed to where they are needed most and humanitarian aid will be delivered to orphanages that help children who have been affected by the conflict.

The money that I'm raising will be used to help cover the logistical costs of moving the aid and supplies whilst additional funds will be used to purchase supplies for the orphanages. The orphanages rely on these funds to help cloth, feed and take care of the children who rely on them.

With Winter fast approaching and the war grinding on, these donations will be invaluable and gratefully received by those caught up in the conflict.

I know that we are experiencing our own financial problems in the UK, a special mention for my colleagues in the TV world, but even a small donation will go a long way to helping me to reach my target of £1,000.

"In May 2022 we established an organisation called 4Ukraine Humanitarian Aid. This is a non-profit organisation based in the UK, focussed primarily on the collection and delivery of humanitarian aid for the benefit of the children and people of Ukraine.

Since our inception we have delivered over 250 tonnes of aid; numerous ambulances; 9 pick-up trucks; a mobile infectious disease treatment unit; over 1 billion water purification tablets; 20 water filtration systems; medical aid; 10,000 operating theatre gowns; Christmas gifts for children; clothing and thermal underwear; sanitary products; food, insect repellent; and much more. Through the relationships we have established within Ukraine we are able to deliver this aid quickly and directly to the areas it is needed most."
