Please support me in my Skydive to raise funds for The Birchwood Centre that offers exceptional support to the Skelmersdale young people/adult community to overcome huge barriers.

Since working closely with children and their families across the Skem’ area its highlighted the importance of empowering individuals to make positive and informed choices about their future lives. A combination of linked problems such as adverse childhood experiences, unemployment, low incomes, poor housing, high crime, poor health and family breakdown can all lead to social exclusion and poorer health outcomes. The Birchwood Centre helps tackle this by providing a range of housing related support services including supported accommodation, mediation, independent living support, and development to young people and adults experiencing difficulties with their mental health and well-being.

£10 will help toward the cost of much needed toiletries for a young homeless person arriving at the centre.

£25 Will help purchase bedding and some essential items.

£50 Will help a young person buy travel passes for public transport to access college or work.

£200 Will help towards the cost of a home starter pack of basic furniture and household items for when the young person moves into their own home.
