A few years ago Charlotte was diagnosed with myelodysplasia, a type of cancer affecting the bone marrow. She had to drop out of university, and had extensive treatment including chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant from a incredibly generous donor! It's been a long and tough Road to recovery and there are still many after effects to deal with daily but Charlotte takes everything in her stride. She has inspired many people with her story and this year she went on to compete at the British Transplant games held in Liverpool and won the womens 18-29 table tennis singles. Charlotte has since been selected to represent Britain at the world transplant games in Malaga in June 2017. However this event will be self funded and an expensive trip. We're asking for people to give anything they can to help Charlotte reach the games and complete on the world stage!
