I am trying to help people and their families who are affected by cancer so that they do not have to suffer the same loss as me and my family.
My beautiful Mum lost her wonderful life fighting until the very last second to cancer. Before my Mum passed away I made a promise to her that I would raise £1,000 for every year of her amazing life. I will be arranging fundraising events until I reach the total of £43,000.
So far we have raised over £24,000 which is amazing. We, and our friends, have raised money by collectively selling tea and cake, we have ran marathons, got lost walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks, boxed, cycled, danced and laughed our way to this brilliant total. We still need other events to reach our total of £43,000.
We have had lots of generous support but we would like to especially thank Redrow Homes, Salford Harriers and Seven Brothers Brewery for their fantastic generosity.
The support around my family from the three charities has been amazing and my thank you to them is raising lots of money. The whole world will see the difference when we find a cure to all cancers.
All donations will be split equally between MacMillan, St. Ann's Hospice and The Christie.
