I am trying to help people and their families who are affected by cancer so that they do not have to suffer from the same loss as me and my family.
My beautiful Mum lost her wonderful life, fighting until the last second to cancer. Before my Mum passed away, I made a promise to her that I would raise £1,000 for every year of her amazing life. I will be doing fundraising events until I raise the total of £43,000.
In a little over 12 months we have raised £17,341.52 which is amazing. We have had tea and cake, ran marathons, walked the Yorkshire peaks, danced and laughed our way to this brilliant total. In 2017 my Dad and Uncle are running a marathon, other bike rides are being sorted, friends are completing a London marathon but we need more ideas to get to £43,000.
I would like to especially thank Redrow Homes, Salford Harriers, Seven Brothers Brewery amongst others for their fantastic donations so far.
The support around my family from the various charities has been phenomenal and my thank you is raising this money for them.
The whole world will see the difference when there is a cure to all cancers.
All donations will be split between Macmillan, St. Ann's Hospice and The Christie to make sure that an end to cancer comes sooner.
