I've raised £1000 to Continue the Sussex Bonfire Tradition in the Parish of Chiddingly

SUCCESS TO THE PARISH! 🐗🔥
The Chiddingly Parish Bonfire Society (C.P.B.S.) was founded on 10th October 2020 at the Six Bells Public House with the ambition of creating a community asset for the Parish of Chiddingly, representing Chiddingly at bonfire events across Sussex & Kent, introducing new members to the wonderful Sussex bonfire tradition. Saturday 26th November 2022 saw Sussex Bonfire celebrations be restored to the Parish of Chiddingly for the first time in 110 years, and on Saturday 25th November 2023, a customary torchlit procession returned to the streets of Chiddingly as part of these celebrations. Now, C.P.B.S. is working towards hosting these traditional celebrations in Chiddingly for the future years to come, including in November 2024.
