Story
Chris Ewell, the Can man had raised countless of thousands for children's charities and good causes. he had dedicated his time and effort to help those less fortunate than himself, touching the lives of so many. Everybody knew him and have their own stories to tell. he had managed to bring so many people together through collecting and saving cans for him, and has been an inspiration of what selflessness can achieve.
This is an opportunity for many of us to show our respects to a true hero
we are raising funds to pay towards the funeral of a remarkable man. Any funds left over will be going to Neuroblastoma UK. If you prefer you may donate direct to Neuroblastoma.

8 years agoWe would just like to say thank you to APM metals of eurolink way, sittingbourne, for generously paying the deposit and the vast amount of the funeral costs, bringing our target down. APM is where Chris spent so much time, and they have helped so much with recycling and their time spent helping Chris and Neuroblastoma uk. Remember any donations over the amount will still all go to the charity.

Chris started raising money for Neuroblastoma when my nephew Tarkan Vardar died from the disease in 1988. Chris was a close friend of my Dad (Harry Hawkins). Thanks so much Chris. RIP ❤

I remember Chris well - my daughter was born with Neuroblastoma 4s and he supported an extremely worthwhile cause. May you get the send off you deserve. x
