    Story

Anthony Mumford had his Cobbler and key cutting shop in Church Street Twickenham for approximately 15 years. He was a big part of our community & known for his big heart & kindness, often charging next to nothing if he thought he could help someone less fortunate & always ingenious with his craft work in finding creative solutions to difficult problems. Everyone knew him, most have been helped by him in some way and we all loved him. Life support has been withdrawn now after his terrible road accident when jhe came off his scooter in Twickenham on the 15th of July. The medical team tried very hard to save him but to no avail. We would like to help his partner Cheryl keep his beloved shop going & give him the send off he deserves. There will be other financial burdens that the family face now too and as a community we need to all come together to help them to survive this ordeal.

Tony was a lovely man. No job was ever too much trouble. He was so kind and generous. It was often a struggle to get him to take money for work he'd done. I will miss him. Sending love to his family

Tony was always so helpful, was highly skilled, and gave great straightforward advice. It was a pleasure to visit his shop.
