Story
We're a community group working to create a bike/skate park in Cockermouth, Cumbria. We want to provide opportunities for skills development, exercise, fun and socialising for people of all ages - but particularly for teenagers, who have very few facilities in our area.
We need to raise start-up funds as we embark on the long process of consultations with the wider community, feasibility studies and negotiations with landowners.
The group is entirely volunteer-run, but we need to invest in professional advice, and there are overhead costs such as hire of meeting rooms, publicity material, postage, stationery &c
