I'm Annie, a young female who has a very strong passion towards the technology industry and its uses within developing countries. This Summer I'm hoping to be joining The Nairoshi Foundation in providing my own knowledge on tech to the wonderful Kenyan children and teachers of the New Hope Academy.

Travelling to Africa and providing children with both educational resources and care is a huge dream of mine, and I'm so incredibly excited to have been offered a position to work with such a beautifully crafted foundation with some world inspiring aims.

For several months, I'm hoping to stay and support the wonderful work of the foundation; providing teaching, administration, student support etc all within the Kenyan land that surrounds it.

There are so many things to be considered before embarking on such a large trip, such as the cost of travel, resources, visas etc which are all aimed to be fulfilled before the travel date of July this year! The money I raise and earn will all go towards both the expenses of travel and providing the children with educational teaching resources such as VTech, Coding Bee's education packs from TechWillSaveUs and many other donations and tools to aid the little ones in their educational journey!

This trip will aid me in my understanding of the lifestyle in Africa for my own lifetime project, Code The Globe . It will not only allow me to connect with other projects and ideas around the world, but also support many others whilst learning the variety of lifestyles that the world holds!

Any support would be so so so very grateful! Whether that be pointing me in the right direction or donating some items to take! I feel very passionate in allowing the imagination of little ones spark new ideas and creation and I feel introducing them to knew opportunities will do just that!
