Did you know that over 1 million older people in the UK regularly feel lonely, and half a million can go days without speaking to anyone?

Social isolation can be devastating, impacting both physical and mental health. With the recent closure of support services in West Cumbria, our elderly neighbours face the risk of losing vital social connections.

That’s where we come in! We’re creating a vibrant new Day Centre and Services in Wigton to help older people across North West Cumbria stay connected, active, and independent. Our goal is to keep older people in their own homes longer by offering a fun, supportive environment filled with activities, community transport, delicious meals, and most importantly- friendly faces!

We’re a registered non-profit C.I.C, and we need your help to make this happen. Every donation will go directly towards covering costs like rent, utilities, activities, food services, and transport. Your support will help us promote independence, reduce isolation, create respite, and bring joy to our older community.
