My goal is to create two separate coping skills groups. One group for children aged 11-17 and then young adults aged 18-30. The idea is to introduce positive coping skills and friendship networks at as an earlier stage as possible. Far too many people suffer from mental illnesses that are often caused from childhood issues. I feel if I can intervene with people as young as possible to teach them how to cope with life I feel I would have achieved my goal.
