Story

How far can we ride in daylight?

This is a challenge to see if we can ride at least 500km in the 16 1/2 hrs of daylight on the Summer Solstice, Saturday 20th June.

What started out as an idea to do a big ride on the Summer Solstice has turned into so much more than that.

Will Scott and Matthew Exley will be taking on this ridiculous challenge of riding 500kms on the Summer Solstice at the infamous 3.5km Tricky Triangle Course.

Yes that's right, 500kms, or close to 150 laps... starting at sunrise and finishing at sunset.

Please donate generously to help raise funds for Oxford University coronavirus research.

Sadly, my grandad fell victim of coronavirus. He was a keen cyclist himself and would be proud of what we are attempting to achieve. During this pandemic it‘s vital that we support those who are attempting to find a solution. Full details of the work that‘s underway at Oxford University can be found here - https://www.research.ox.ac.uk/Area/coronavirus-research
