XPO Logistics in Bradford are using crowdfunding to support four local, underfunded charitable causes; this panel of four makes up our Charity of the Year.

We'll raise money for all four causes and split every pound we raise equally across them; we'll run our Charity of the Year (CotY) from 1 May 2016 to 30 April 2017.

Our quartet of charities are:

Bradford Night Stop – provides emergency homeless accommodation for 16-25 year olds

Cystic Fibrosis Holiday Fund – we’ll aim to identify individual local CF sufferers, and raise the cash for them and their families/carers to enjoy a holiday together

Pawprints Cat Rescue – local cat rescue with a huge vet bill, and up to 60 cats and kittens for rehoming and fostering at any time

Staying Put – helps women who are victims of domestic violence/abuse build a life without the abuser present; Staying Put helps remove the abusive partner from the house, so that the victim can remain in their own home

XPO Logistics are passionate about making a difference in the local communities in which they operate, and here at XPO Bradford, "Community" is one of the site's four commitments. "Bradford is committed to playing an active role in our community, bringing positive change to those in need, and being exemplary environmental neighbours."
