Story

A group of Dads are trying to raise money to go towards a new 3G pitch for Cottenham United Colts football club due to the current 3G pitch being in such poor condition. On 29th June 2024 we are attempting the difficult 24 hours 3 peak challenge which will see us climb and descend Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scarfell Pike in under 24 hours. As if this is not difficult enough we will be travelling.. to each mountain in a mini bus covering hundreds of miles and with hardly any sleep, a logistical nightmare!!

We currently have 23 teams that make up Cottenham United Colts, ranging from U6s to U18s and include both boys and girls teams. We are a hugely popular and inclusive club that wants the best for our Club and the children that are part of it. Over the past few years our current 3G pitch has gradually got worse and is becoming dangerours to play and train on. Eventually it will become too bad to play on which will leave hundreds of children with nowhere to play their beloved game of football and putting further strain on other facilities within Cottenham.

The club has been challenged to raise CIRCA £20,000 in order for a new, state of the art 3G pitch which will then be able to offer not only the children of Cottenham but children of surrounding villages a chance to continue not only their development but the opportunity for both mental and physical wellbeing

We are not looking to raise the full £20,000 on this challenge but as much money as possible so please donate if you can
