Story

Creative Advances is a day service for Adults with Learning Disabilities, the service runs from Buckland United Reformed Church that was sadly broken into.

The service users have worked tirelessly to raise funds to celebrate Covid 19 coming to an end, with a different kind of mask in the form of a Masquerade Ball, sadly this money was stolen alongside money that is used for self sustaining sessions such cooking, pottery, dance and more.

Alongside this they run their own social enterprise making crafts to sell and purchase new equipment to develop their skills was stolen.

This has been a devastating blow to all who use the service, we would like to ask for your support to ensure this event can go forward and sessions can get back to normality. Many people may question security for these sessions, measures have been put in place to ensure this will not happen again.

Anyone who knows the service will reassure you that it is a valued and essential service to those in the LD community.
