Story
CPS Nepal is a charity close to my heart. For over 15 years my amazing wife along with other trustees have been solely responsible for raising every penny needed to run this orphanage.
The orphanage cares for 24 children aged between 6 and 17. It is run along the lines of a big family and managed by a Nepali couple, whom the children call uncle and auntie. CPS does an amazing job of providing these children with food, accommodation, schooling and clothing, as well as necessary support as they transition into adult life. In short, it changes lives and perhaps more accurately gives children whose lives may have ended prematurely a chance.
I am aiming to complete the world’s toughest mountain race, the Dragons Back Race in Sept 2023. 380km over 6 days covering twice the height of Everest. I have done it before and I know I will have a lot of low moments. My challenge is nothing compared to what these orphans have experienced and they will be my inspiration to get to the finish line. If I can raise some money along the way for this wonderful cause then that would be great.
Any support you can give will be greatly appreciated and it may just change someone’s life. For more information about the charity go to www.cpsnepal.co.uk.
Thank you.
