Story

Some of our wonderful supporters are walking a whopping 100 MILES (yes 100 miles !!!) to raise money to help Dandelion Days Equine Facilitated Learning.

Join us in supporting Dandelion Days, a transformative not for profit organization dedicated to fostering mental wellness and providing support for individuals facing mental health challenges through the incredible power of equine therapy. Our mission is to create a safe and nurturing environment where children, young people, and adults can embark on a journey of healing and self-discovery alongside our remarkable therapy horses.

As part of our ongoing efforts to raise funds and awareness for Dandelion Days, a group of passionate supporters have embarked on an extraordinary journey. They are taking on the challenge of walking approximately 100 miles through the breath-taking landscapes of the Lake District, known as "A Lakeland Round." This epic trek will take them over hill and dale, across rugged terrain and serene valleys, all in the name of supporting mental wellness.

The route they've chosen is as inspiring as it is demanding. Starting from Windermere, they will traverse Highstreet Mountain to reach Glenridding on day one. Day two will see them conquering Helvellyn on their way to Keswick. From there, they'll journey to Buttermere via Grizdale Pike on day three, and then on to Eskdale Green via Wasdale on day four. Day five will bring them to Coniston via Devoke Water, and on the final leg of their journey, they'll return to Windermere for a well-deserved celebration, complete with a pint of Guinness and memories to last a lifetime.

But this remarkable feat is more than just a physical challenge—it's a testament to the unwavering commitment of our supporters to make a difference in the lives of others. By generously donating to this cause, you can help us continue our vital work of providing equine therapy to those in need. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to realizing our vision of a world where mental wellness is accessible to all.

Join us in supporting Dandelion Days Equine Facilitated Learning and help us make a positive impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental health challenges. Together, we can create a brighter future for our communities.
