This November, I will be completing an Organ Marathon, where I will be playing the Organ for 36 hours, in which all proceeds will be donated towards Children in Need 2023

The purpose of this marathon is to raise awareness of three important factors:

1. To raise money for children in need - This is an event I have watched almost every year and have always felt it to be a very important Part of November. I would love to do my part to use my skills to help raise money for this incredible charity.

2. To raise awareness of Farnley Tyas Church and the importance of the community. I have attended this church for almost 2 years and have been the full-time Organist since January 2023. I really do feel that we need more members attending our church. It has a fantastic community and is a great place to worship or simply just be there on Sundays. I hope through this challenge I can raise awareness of our church and show how great a place it is to be.

3. To raise awareness of the importance of Organ playing and the creative arts. Growing up, I was never any good at science or sports, but the creative subjects have always been something I have enjoyed massively and enjoyed being a part of. I really do feel that this is an important factor for people to pay attention to, as without the world of the creative arts, there would be a lot less enjoyment in society. We rely on the creative arts for music, films, art, culture, etc.
