Story

The reason I chose to run for the Chance for Children charity is because having been a single mother for over 12 years I come to know not only the struggles of parenthood but also the fact that the children can miss out financially.

Running the six biggest marathons in the world (London, Berlin, Chicago, New York, Tokyo, Boston) is not only my dream but if I succeed then it will definitely be one of the biggest achievements of my entire life. Currently, I have four stars but if all goes well, Tokyo will be my 5th star (my 5th world major and my 15th marathon)

And for those who don’t know me - I am not a fast runner and running doesn’t come to me naturally. My marathon PB is 4hrs 13mins so I’m far from being Kipchoge. And whilst often juggling work and my personal life I can’t strictly follow any training plan. But I have a GOAL and DETERMINATION, and when I set a goal, I am more driven than ever to achieve it and make the people who believe in me and support me proud.

Many of you have been supporting me for a few years now and I’m so very grateful. If you like my running journey I hope you are inspired. It shows that we can achieve at any age if we focus and commit - and also help others while on our journey.
