Story
Daniel is 8 months old and already had more than his fair share of health problems from finding a hole in his heart, meningitis at 10 days old, seizure, hypotonia and head lag. He now has Plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) the long term effects arent fully known but scientist believe it can have implications as children get older. Unfortunately the treatment is no longer available on the NHS so we are trying to raise money to help cover the cost of his helmet treatment. Any help even just a share will be hugely appreciated

6 months agoToday Daniel had his helmet fitting. Most children who have plagiocephaly stop the degree of deformity growth by around 4/5 months, so the consultant was shocked today when he discovered Daniels had worsened by 2mm in just 2 weeks at 9 months old! Luckily with his helmet treatment starting today we should be able to sort this out for him although it may take slightly longer than anticipated. Thank you for all of your support and generosity on getting Daniel the treatment he needed. 💙💙
