Our Dad, Danny Haywood, sadly passed away on the 20th August 2016. Throughout his life he was an avid reader and found great pleasure in books and sharing them with his children. He was amazing with children and brought so much joy to his four children, two grandchildren and myriad of nieces and nephews. Dad had always planned to travel the world on a bus or train once he retired. Sadly his life was cut short before retirement.

For these reasons we are raising money in Danny's memory for the Book Bus (www.thebookbus.org/), a charity that drives around remote parts of Asia, Africa and South America bringing the joy of books to the 124 million children in the world who can't read. Reading, children and travel were all important to Danny so we think he would love this charity. If we raise enough we hope to get a bus named after him so he can continue to spread joy and knowledge to children around the world.
