Story
Dave (Dickie) Barton suddenly and very sadly passed away whilst on holiday in Scarborough on Monday the 18th of September. He is well known and loved across York, at work with his Railway family and also at his beloved York City FC. He always had time and a smile on his face for anyone and was a genuinely good soul, the type of person we all need more of in our lives. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. As he was the bread winner in the home he shared with his sister Suzie and mum Hazel, you can imagine the impact of such a shock to them. This is where we, his friends, can step in and help with a donation to either help them directly or to go towards a charitable donation of their choice in Dave's memory.

1 year agoHazel, Suzy and Malcolm, David Barton’s family, would like to offer our heartfelt and sincere thanks to each and every person who donated to the Just giving page for David which has eased the burdens of David’s funeral costs and other expenses. We will never forget peoples genuine kindness and love at such a sad time and it has all been such a comfort to us all, thank you all once again xx
