Dave (Dickie) Barton suddenly and very sadly passed away whilst on holiday in Scarborough on Monday the 18th of September. He is well known and loved across York, at work with his Railway family and also at his beloved York City FC. He always had time and a smile on his face for anyone and was a genuinely good soul, the type of person we all need more of in our lives. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. As he was the bread winner in the home he shared with his sister Suzie and mum Hazel, you can imagine the impact of such a shock to them. This is where we, his friends, can step in and help with a donation to either help them directly or to go towards a charitable donation of their choice in Dave's memory.
