Story

Hope on a Rope abseiling team need your help !!

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Us courageous ladies and gents need your help !!

We are a ‘willing’ team of 10 people who are supporting Mayor of Daventry Karen Tweedale in fundraising for her very worthwhile local charities, Northamptonshire Domestic Abuse Service (NDAS) and Service Six.

The Hope on a Rope team consists of Karen and her husband Mark, along with Anita Quinn, Janine Albert, Freya Colson, Louise Townsend, Abbie Porter, Simone Porter, Terry Read and Tina Botterill.

On 12th October 2024, we’ll be abseiling down the world’s largest abseil tower at the National Lift Tower in Northampton, braving a dizzying descent of 400ft to raise money for two very worthwhile causes.

Alongside her role as Mayor, Karen works in a local secondary school and often witnesses the struggles faced by young adults. By supporting NDAS and Service Six, we can make a significant impact on the lives of young people in our community.

Thank you for supporting the team in our mission to raise vital funds for the Mayor’s chosen charities. Every donation will make a huge difference and help these charities continue to support the most vulnerable members of our community.
