Day by day Dave has been becoming more and more like himself which has been fantastic to see. He has been avoiding food as his mouth is so painful and uncomfortable bless him but today we had a breakthrough! Dave ate!! He has been eating soft cat food! It has been amazing we are so grateful for everyone's help as this wouldn't of been possible without your amazing donations. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! X

Dave is HOME!!!! After seeing the specialist today Dave has been allowed to come home. He isn't feeding yet so the feeding tube has to remain and we are taking g over syringe feeding him every three hours. He is very happy to be home and explored the house before falling nag asleep in his favourite place on his mum and dads bed! Thank you everyone!!!! He is back to seethe specialist in January to have the wires and Shield removed on another operation. This operation will cost another £500. Thank you all!!! Nikita

We thought Dave may be able to come home today but unfortunately he is in a lot of pain again. Alma vets ( who are amazing) have had to up his pain medication and are going to keep him in again :( we make the 2 hour trip to Christchurch tomorrow for his post op appointment with the surgeon to see how he is healing :) fingers crossed he is feeling better tomorrow! Poor little thing!!
