Many of you know our fantastic dad was taken from us on the 7th of February 2017 after a short but hard fought battle against a metastatic adenocarcinoma of unknown prime, a form of cancer that presented itself in his bowel.

From the moment we found out the grave news, we took up the challenge to make our fathers journey as comfortable as possible. We are hugely thankful that our father passed away peacefully. But what many do not know is the extensive involvement of Dr John Cormack and a team of district nurses who not only ensured our father was in comfort but also with personal support at home during this tough time.

From day 1 Dr Cormack put it upon himself to go above and beyond and ensure our father received the very best care and support for the family around him. Dr Cormack not only dropped in personally near enough every day but was also on call for us 24/7, answered our calls throughout all hours of the day and personally administered medication on a need basis when our father required it. Even now Dr Cormack is still in contact supporting the family and providing advice and support following our fathers passing.

Previously Dr Cormack has personally funded his own practice in light of pressures faced by the NHS. This fund is set up to support Dr Cormacks practice and allow him and his team to continue providing the outstanding care, that we know he provides, to all those others that may need it.
