Debbie fought a five year battle against cancer, since her first heartbreaking diagnosis in 2011. She beat the disease more than once, showing everyone who knew her, what a incredibly strong woman she was. The middle of this year came with the end of yet another batch of Chemo, for yet another part of her body the disease had chosen to attack, which she again faught against with every inch of her being, still with a positive attitude and outlook on life. Sadly, the end came with another devastating diagnosis, a brain tumour that had been undetected for some time. This was the battle that eventually got the better of her, and after another four long months of strength, and determination, she sadly lost her battle on November the 13th, 2016.

Debbie blew everyone away with her fearlessness and determination, and she fought everyday with a smile on her face, love in her heart and always ensured her family and friends came first. She was incredibly caring, funny, smart, strong and an inspiration to everybody who knew her; she was a Queen in everyone's eyes. An imprint has been left on the hearts of everyone that surrounded her. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunty, grandmother, and friend. Please help her family give her the send off she deserves.
