There is a huge sadness and a hole missing in many people’s lives this month. With the passing of Dear old Don there will be a little less madness in all of his venues and in all of our lives. The Slip inn, Clifton Park, The Con Club, and Twickenham, to name but a few.

There has been a growing request to provide some form of charity donation so that people can pay their respects in a more tangible way alongside the remembrance and the photos (of which there are many yet to be seen). He wasnt a big one for charity donations and a gift seems more his style, so please feel free to pop in any amount and Alan and myself will make sure that the Staff of Ward 29 recieve a damned good thank-you for everything they are doing.

We’ve increased it to £500 and thats a lovely gesture. There are calls for a memorial of some description but thats possibly a York RUFC decision
