Rishi Sunak released a hard to swallow statement on Friday 15th September 2023, that he plans to BAN the XL Bully, our pets, our family and the most loving dog you can have! We know there have been a couple of bad incidents, but we say that this is from irresponsible keepership and that none of these incidents relate back to dogs from reputable breeders, respectful people or responsible dog owners. Since the dangerous dogs Act had come into place in 1991, dog attacks have risen, not reduced, and since 1999 and 2019 dog attacks have risen by 154%. There are many factors to blame here, but we cannot blame and cull an entire breed like they did with the American Pit Bull Terrier. We need to stop this now, and challenge squewed reports by government funded organisations, and get some real statistics out there, we need to protest, we need to have a bullbreed association where we have a panel of experts, we need to have tighter dog regulations on keepership and tighter punishments for owners of all breeds with dogs off lead who cause attacks and injury. The XL bully is a loving pet and was bred from several breeds to be a companion. The XL bullies the media keep calling out, have later revealed them not to be XL bullies, but other breeds. The variations of size and look of the XL bully will mean that other larger mastiff breeds could be mistaken for XL bullies and seized, which is what happens now with dogs been seized as “put bull TYPE”. Everyone needs to stand up, not just XL bully owners!

we need to show the government what the XL bully is, how much we love our dogs and how responsible we are! money needs to be raised for effective protesting, requiring big screens to show our dogs with our families, mics and speakers, stands, content creators, venue hire for meetings, leaflets and banners, dog behaviour experts, legal fees, trainers, putting together a website, a panel of experts in each field, a podcast, advice line. This is just for the beginning steps of what we pan to do, but we need some money behind us to get the right people on board as I will need to Pay for their time too.
